The images in this gallery were kindly provided by our customer, Mr Ted
D. of San Mateo.
Bell Plumbing replaced Ted's entire sewer line from the foundation
of the building to the city main in the center of the street.
This project included both of the two sewer replacement methods that we
use: trenchless pipebursting, and open trench.
Because the old sewer line ran under a tree, Bell Plumbing used the open
trench method to re-route the line in order to avoid root intrusions in
the future.
The rest of the line was replaced via the trenchless pipebursting method.
This method allows us to replace an entire sewer line without disturbing
yards, gardens, and driveways by creaating two small trenches through
which we access the sewer. The new sewer line is then pulled through the
existing one with hydraulic machinery.
Both of these methods work well, but Bell Plumbing specializes in trenchless
pipebursting, which allows us to provide very competitive prices to our
customers while minimizing construction impact on their property.
